The VRQ or Certificate in Traffic Management is a new qualification that has been launched by a new agency of the Highways service. Incorporating all that traffic management has to offer, this is an exciting role that organizes and takes care of Britain’s traffic problems, whilst gives the apprentices the skills to procure a career in highway maintenance and policing. |
Although car parking and penalties form part of the course, there are more aspects than an apprentice may first realize. Traffic management covers everything from stopping cars at a crime scene, to inspecting Britain’s motorways for faults, and gaining the VRQ will give you the springboard to propel into a wide choice of career opportunities.

Qualifications
There are three separate qualifications which cover all levels of aptitude:

Certificate in Traffic Management (On-Road Traffic Officers)

Certificate in Traffic Management (Regional Control Centre Traffic Officers)

Certificate in Traffic Management (Supervisors)
