Qualifications

All of our apprenticeships combine a package that mixes on hands experience (VCQ or NVQ) with in college training or day placement and fundamental key skills. The qualifications you can choose from are listed below; however call us to see which package would best suit your needs. The advanced fabrication apprenticeship is available in two formats – MECHANICAL and ELECTRICAL – it combines an NVQ, a technical certificate and key skills qualification. NVQ: For the NVQ your learners will be taught on the job and will need to be in a suitable work placement. There is an option of taking an online test for the mandatory units.

Technical Certificate: Your learners will be taught in a college-based environment and assessment will be by an online (GOLA) test for mandatory units and centre set assignments for non-mandatory units.

Key Skills For the application of number, communications and ICT your learners will need to create a portfolio of evidence based on any activity with a clear purpose. They will also need to complete an externally marked test.
