Qualifications

All of our apprenticeships combine a package that mixes on hands experience with in college training or day placement and fundamental key skills. The qualifications you can choose from are listed below; however call us to see which package would best suit your needs. Level 2 Certificate and Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering - Distribution and Transmission (Technical Knowledge) There are two qualifications available at Level 2:

Level 2 Certificate in Electrical Power Engineering - Distribution and Transmission (Technical Knowledge)

Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering - Distribution and Transmission (Technical Knowledge).

These include the following compulsory units:

• Understand legislation in the power industry
• Mathematics, mechanical and electrical theory in power engineering
• Power engineering: electrical networks, plant and apparatus
• Power engineering: cables, substations and overhead lines.

Level 3 Certificate and Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering - Distribution and Transmission There are also two qualifications available at level 3:

• Electrical theory and principles in power engineering
• Mathematics in power engineering
• Mechanical theory and principles in power engineering.
