As part of management training our team leading apprenticeships give you all the tools you need to effectively manage a team of employees, creating harmony in the workplace whilst ensuring you get the results you aim for. Team leading is a respected qualification as it takes special people to be able to communicate effectively, plan, delegate and give direction without alienating people personally.

This course will show you first-hand how best to manage a team, how to delegate work effectively and how to lead by example. It will help you avoid conflict in the workplace and give you all the tools you need to advance your career to a management position.

Qualifications

Not surprisingly, strong leadership skills and the ability to build team spirit are essential qualities for anyone entering either of these fields, together with the ability to be able to adapt to the different working environments. With a Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading the emphasis is on the principles of team leading, managing workloads, how to lead a team and make it work effectively.

The Level 3 Certificate in Management covers: the philosophies behind managerial strategies and how to access, comprehend and present facts and figures.

In addition, depending on a learner’s chosen career path, there are a number of additional modules on offer such as:

• The planning and implementation of change
• Project management
• Controlling a budget
• Operational planning
• Recruiting staff
• Customer service management.
